I almost forgot to mention the film clip project. This was a simple easy assignment. I just used a book that I was currently working on in another class... "Of Mice and Men." Then I searched on www.youtube.com for a video. There are tons of videos available for this subject. Lastly, I incorporated it into a lesson plan.
I will use film clips often to capture the attention of the students. It is great for ELL students to listen to and see the material in a different medium.
